Barabbas or Jesus?
Barabbas was a criminal;
a murderer and thief
who represents the worst in man;
of sinners he was chief.
But Jesus was a sinless man;
no gentler would you find;
yet still He was rejected by
the leaders of His kind.
They hated all His miracles,
His teachings, and the good
that He was able to perform
with power from God above.
Unable to prevent Him from
being worshipped and adored,
they put in hand their wicked plan
to crucify ... the Lord!
When Judgment comes they'll ask themselves:
'Which one was best for me?
Barabbas, or Messiah Who
we sent to Calvary?'
Too late for them! But we can still
make Jesus Christ the One
to be our Friend and Saviour
when our time on earth is done!
