The strongest man has not the strength
to withstand Satan's harsh attacks,
but Satan will give up at length
for Jesus has the power he lacks!
When songs no longer fill our hearts,
and praising something hard to do,
then that's when Jesus power imparts
to fill our hearts with songs anew.
But best of all, for those who sought
to free themselves from sin and shame
our Jesus on the cross has bought
salvation in His holy Name!
